Meaning
Here, , Baba Avtar Singh Ji gives a direst difference between a True devotee of the True Master and the self-willed.
A True devotee is one who listens and obeys every command of the True Master. He is the one who loves to serve the True Master with purity in the heart. He is the same from within and outside and is always true in his dealings. His faith is strong and shows no ego/ pride. He is the one who can see God everywhere.
On the other hand, the self willed is just the opposite of the true devotee. He is one who only listens to himself and doesn’t obey. He is the one who creates hurdles and pretends to love. The self willed is one who is jealous from within and his dealings are false. He does not believe and see God everywhere because he is filled with ego.
Hence, he concludes that though both the True devotee and the self willed look the same, they are different from within. This is because the True devotee is generous and the self willed only talks.
